Advanced Lightwire Functional (A.L.F.)
The Advanced Lightwire Functional or A.L.F. appliance is a new treatment concept designed by Dr Darick Nordstrom. The ALF is an unobtrusive lightwire fixed/removable appliance that applies a continuous light force to the skull bones and teeth resulting in the elimination of multiple dysfunctions. They are held in place with composite ledges to prevent the patient from removing the appliance.
